The Merit Badge University is open to any registered Scout or Venturer working towards Scout rank advancement. Tiger, Cub, and Webelos Scouts are not eligible to participate (even if they will be crossing over into a troop later this year after the merit badge university). The youth must be a registered scout.

Log-in using your registration number and email address (from the email you received) 2. Pick the participants tab and you can see all your scouts registrations 3. • Online registration fee is $6 per Scout per session. Individual courses may have additional equipment or material fees.
• Lunch may be purcheased during your registration for a separate fee. 
• Three sessions are available, some merit badge classes  may span across 2 sessions.
  • Session 1: Friday evening from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
  • Session 2: Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to Noon.
  • Session 3: Saturday afternoon from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

There are over many Merit Badge slots open and available for Scouts. If your first choice is not available, there are plenty of other options. Please be aware Communication Merit Badge CANNOT be completed at MBU without prereqs completed in advance, including but not limited to req 5&8
